Don't Risk Your Life On Electrics

Don't Risk Your Life On ElectricsLet me tell you of my experience with DIY electrics. I can change a fuse wire up a plug and fix a socket in a wall, but that’s the extent of my knowledge when it comes to electrics in the home. I will not attempt to stretch my DIY to other electrical appliances such as light circuits or electrical repairs.

The reason for this is quite simple; I nearly killed myself trying this a while ago trying to wire up a simple light connection to my garage and got a big shock. Luckily I got away with it and would never attempt anything like that again. My policy is now never to risk my life and call in professional for jobs beyond my basic electrical knowledge.
Looking up the yellow pages for professional electricians is a minefield, there are so many rogues out there you don’t’ know who to trust. The best way and the best tip is to find someone that can do the job well with guarantees if from referrals or someone who has used them before and given them good feedback. I have found a local electrician who now always use and that is the best.

If you happen to be in the USA and Houston based there is a Houston Electrician that is recommended. To give a prompt, honest and quality service with safety the prime objective. Qualified electricians are easy to find qualified electrician that give an excellent service are much harder to find. Once you do find one hold on to them, they are like gold dust.

I for one am grateful that I am still alive to tell the story.
